Foreign Investors can buy in the Cleveland Area



Foreign investors are large part of our business and we have set youLinkup a system to help them buy investment homes and investment properties in our areas. Lori has set up a system to get them in LLC in the State of Ohio and set them up to get a EIN number or tax number so they can set up a bank account in the United States.

As a foreign investor it can become very cumbersome and time-consuming to do this on your own, at Rooftopinvestment we take care of all that for you. We also have conference calls and weekly updates to our foreign investors. Not only do we just talk to them, we also send weekly update videos during the construction. We feel this is very important to keep them informed and updated on the progress of their investment property.

These are a lot of other things that we do as a company for all our clients, we also send weekly updates on all their investment properties after a rental contract is formed or lease option. In our weekly property management meetings we write an update with e-mail to our foreign clients. Another service we offer is utility turn on. That sounds like an easy thing to do but it takes hours sometimes on hold with these utility companies. We take care of all the utilities gas electrical and water when we first start our construction. This is a very important aspect of your investment property also because of the different temperatures in this region. For example last week we purchased a home in Cleveland Heights and we had to get the heat turned on immediately because of the cold. This will sometimes bust your water lines and damaged the home. This is another service that we offer our clients to make sure this does not happen.

With our in-house property management team we can always have our fingertips on information for your property. Every Thursday we have a property management meeting and go over all the properties and how we can make more money for clients with the properties. An example would be our marketing program. We have a separate division just to market your properties and make sure their cash flowing at all times. This is another important aspect for you as an investor to maximize your profit and we understand that. Our vacancy rate as of the writing of this blog post is 5%. We do over $1 million a year in gross rent in the Cleveland area.
